Peer Review Process
Peer Review Process
In the review process, The International Journal of Religion, Law and Society (IJRLS) involves authors, editors, section editors, and reviewers. IJRLS applies a Double-Blind Review model to ensure confidentiality and objectivity.
Each submitted manuscript is initially screened by the editorial team. If the manuscript aligns with the journal's focus and scope and complies with the IJRLS author guidelines, it will be forwarded to qualified reviewers for evaluation of its content, originality, and scholarly contribution. Otherwise, the manuscript will be returned to the author for revision or rejection.
A minimum of two reviewers are assigned to assess each manuscript. The review process typically takes 1–2 weeks per reviewer, based on the evaluation criteria outlined in the Reviewer’s Article Assessment Form. On average, the total time from submission to publication is approximately 8 weeks.
